Timipre Wolo – a former law student at the University of Aberdeen – has been shortlisted for the Professional Achievement category of the 2017 British Council Alumni Awards. After graduating from Aberdeen with an LLM degree in Oil and Gas Law, Timipre has embarked upon a successful legal career as well as co-founding the Greener Nigeria Initiative NGO. She has also been involved at management level in the Legal Department of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) – an organisation working on the development of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry – where she contributed a great deal to the cause of youth development:
