Aberdeen School of Law Launches Blog

Presentation1AberdeenUniLaw is the new WordPress blog from the University’s School of Law. It is to feature material from various contributors in the department, and as lecturer Malcolm Combe (already a seasoned blogger), explains in the introduction to the ‘inaugural post’:

“this blog will showcase a variety of material, whether that is a work in progress, some published output, participation in a seminar or a conference, or anything that a news item on our website will not quite do justice to.”

Head there now to read that post, an interesting account of the rediscovery of some leather bound minute books containing entries from the late 1930s, detailing the department’s response to a plea for support from the University of Amsterdam’s Law Faculty, in the face of the growing threat of the Nazis. It’s a compelling snapshot of University history.

And if you like what you see, make sure to ‘Follow‘!
