Working on your dissertation over the summer?

Did you know that you can use other academic libraries in the UK? University of Aberdeen Library, Special Collections and Museums is a member of the SCONUL Access Scheme which means that you can apply for a card that will give you access to most UK HE libraries. You may be able to borrow material from them, but it will NOT give you access to their IT facilities or databases.

Before you leave Aberdeen download an application form from the web address given below and take it to the Information Centre on Floor 1 in the University Library. NOTE: some libraries also require a letter of introduction from your supervisor. You will not be issued with a SCONUL card if you have fines unpaid on your library account.

For more information and the online application form go to http://www.abdn.ac.uk/library/get-started/who-can-use/sconul-access/.
